Left Me At The Party - Rothwell
Velvet Heart by Rothwell
Merch designs for UK swim brand Tucca Swim.
I have been working alongside the start up luxury adventure travel and experiences platform Fixers, since 2018, working on graphic design and illustration for their website and branding.
We wanted to show different ethnicities and shapes so that customers felt represented in the imagery. We chose to show the different sides to the business that Fixers were aimed at such as Festivals, adventure, travel camping, yoga and winter sports. The illustrations are featured on different sections of the website made for the members such as the marketplace, studio and blog. These illustrations have been crucial to the portrayal of the brand so that customers and the target market know exactly what the brand are about.

Working the event - Live Illustration plus event merch
For this project I worked with Cake Agency with the client Puma, for their launch of the new style Cali Sport trainer. The event was themepark and ‘Miami beach’ themed to go with the cali sport branding of Puma. Using this theme I created merchandise including tote bags, stickers for guests to take home, and templates used as wall decor at the event that featured quotes from each guest.
I also worked live at the event as an activation for guests to interact with - creating live illustrated portraits of the influencer guests who attended the event. Guests queued for their chance to be captured in illustrated portrait form and I create portraits of 40+ guests. These portraits were in the centre of two illustrated border templates that guests could choose their favourite from, and sent to them via email aswell as printed at the activation and given to them in plastic wallets to take home.
A series of portraits of beautiful women within the fashion and sports social media scene for Puma x Office collaboration. The portraits are based on the new Puma Cali Sport trainer in black and rose gold, with the portraits representing the new colour way. These portraits were printed and sent to each individual as gifting for International Women’s Day 2021.
This was a very special project for the charity Teenage Cancer Trust for their #STILLME campaign, aiming to help young people to feel comfortable as themselves while living with cancer or in remission from treatment. The campaign showed through video how the young people felt about their bodies as they were going through treatment and how the changes to their bodies affected their relationships with themselves.
I was asked to create an image for the fundraising t-shirts for the campaign as I had previously created work about positive body image. To fully understand the campaign and get to know the charity better, I was invited to visit the facilities at the Macmillan Cancer Centre, where I saw the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit, made for young people to have as much of a normal life as possible while in their care. There were games rooms, workshops, tv’s and lots of activities for the young people to do. The work they do is truly amazing. I was able to meet a couple of the young people while taking part in one of the art workshops, where I spoke to them about their hobbies and artwork.
It was important that the artwork was to be suitable for young people and took a positive direction, something that they could wear with pride and really represented the ‘still me’ theme of still being able to express themselves and fully live as themselves.
I chose to show five young people in the illustration, each with their own talent or hobby, enjoying what they each love to do whether that’s listening to music, reading, painting, sports or spending time with their pets!
VANS INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY 2019
This project was for International Women’s Day 2019 for sports brand Vans. The brief was fairly simple, to include Vans trainers in a female focused illustration showing women in the sports that Vans sponsor including skate boarding, surfing, cycling and snow boarding.
I chose to include women of all ethnicities in a scene showing the different sports represented by the bikes/ boards and movements of each of the women represented. This piece of artwork was to be used on the Vans social media as well as additionally choosing to use the image for the Style Your Screen feature on the Vans Girls tumblr blog where readers could download the image to use as a phone screen background.
I was commissioned by JD Sport to be part of an activation for their Vans edit on the website and social media. Alongside 3 other artists we took part in an 8-hour art challenge where we created a piece of artwork that we felt represented our connection to Vans trainers. I chose to base mine on the classic skate shoe, and using female characters based from professional skater girls. I wanted the piece to show women owning a predominantly male sport and give a feminine edge to the Vans brand.
I was commissioned by JD Sports to host a live illustration workshop consisting of creating portraits of their influencer guests for International Women's Day 2020. The aim of the event was to include 'inspirational' women (me being one of them!) to host workshops for their guests to interact with. I created a custom JD Sports international women's day themed border design for the portraits to go on as well as attending the event in Manchester to host the workshop. The event consisted of different female ran workshops and activities and a podcast hosted by presenter Becca Dudley from MTV featuring Laura Whitmore discussing what international Women's day means to them and the importance of supporting one another.
I worked with Durex on their morning brunch event in February, where they invited several sex positive change-makers to talk about sexual progression within society, the effects of porn, social media and technology on our sex lives and what needs to change in our sex education syllabus in schools. I was commissioned to create portraits of each of the guests and the Durex team.

This amazing campaign involved creating a piece of artwork focused on ending period poverty, where all likes and engagement from the piece equal the amount of period products that Always will donate to UK after school clubs and youth groups. People with periods in UK schools now receive free menstrual products, however out of term time and after school they are still going without. Always alongside Tampax are committed to making period poverty a thing of the past, so to be a part of this project is incredible. All likes and comments count towards this until 30th September - so there is still time to get tagging friends and liking the image- the more engagement the more products donated! :)
